Here are the main elements you will learn from a Jikiden Reiki Shoden course…
- The history and meaning behind the Reiki system, characters, and symbols
- How it works in conjunction with the body’s natural healing systems
- How to heal yourself and others
- Where to treat, by feeling blockages/toxins (byosen)
- First aid techniques for cuts, bruises and burns
- A revitalising massage technique (Ketsueki Kokan Ho)
- How to develop your sensitivity (Hatsurei Ho)
- Practical hands on treatments
- You will also receive attunements to reconnect you to the energy around us
During this workshop you will:
- receive 3 reiju or attunements
- learn about the history of Reiki
- learn about the 5 principles Usui devised and the history behind them
- learn how to treat people using the concept of byosen (feeling for areas that have more toxins and need treatment)
- learn the important meaning behind a symbol used in areas that need more Reiki and how and when to use it
- learn a massage treatment taught by Mikao Usui and further enhanced by Chujiro Hayashi because of his medical training
- learn techniques for enhancing the sensitivity in your hands and practicing at home
- give and receive Reiki treatments and have practice sessions with other participants
Shoden – parts 1,2, and 3 are taught over 2 days

The intention is that people pay the equivalent of the price in Japan, whilst people in developing countries pay a lower price in accordance with their economy.
